Trend is your guide when you are trading, it the fashion in which prices move. Prices follow three different trends i.e. rising, falling and stagnant.
When your prices make higher highs as well as lower lows your prices are conformed to be in rising trend,indicating to buy. When your prices make lower highs and lower bottoms they are surely in falling trend,indicating to sell. And lastly when they seem to give no clear picture they are consolidating, telling you to stay away.
